Educational Opportunities
FSGA provides educational opportunities for Professional Guardians, Family Guardians, Guardian Advocates, Examining Committee members and affiliated FSGA members:
- 40 hour Professional Guardian training
FSGA Chapters and members sponsor the 40 hour Professional Guardian Training Course, a part of the requirements to become a Professional Guardian in Florida. Check our Bulletin, or CEBroker
- Examining Committee training
Heart of Florida Chapter, FSGA offers the 4 hour Initial Examining Committee Course on DVD with workbook and Certificate/Affidavit. Contact

- 4 hour Guardian of Minor Property and 8 hour Family Guardian training
CAUTION: Each Chief Judge determines and approves the specific training for 4 and 8 hour guardianships in their Circuits. Check to be sure courses from outside the jurisdiction are approved by your Chief Judge.

- Continuing Edcuation
All approved CEU credit educational programs for Professional Guardians and Examining Committee Members are listed on CEBroker
- Annual Conference
At the annual FSGA Conference, CEU program credits are available for Professional Guardians, Family Guardians, attorneys and paralegals, licensed social workers and licensed mental health workers. See more on the Conference page.

The National Guardianship Association provides approved CEU credits during their annual national conference.
The Center for Guardianship Certification provides approved CEU credit programs for National Certified Guardian (NCG) renewal requirement of 20 CEUs every two years.
