FSGA Accreditation Committee:

The FSGA Accreditation Committee meets the 1st Wednesday of every month, between 9-10:00 AM. There are often other committee work sessions held between these scheduled monthly meetings. Committee members are representative of Nationally Certified Guardians, Office of Public & Professional Guardians, Attorneys, Clerk of Courts, Fiduciaries, Paralegals, Medical Professionals, and others from throughout the guardianship community. We strongly support the Standards of Practice for Florida along with increased educational requirements for guardians. The Accreditation Committee is a participant in the development of a disciplinary process, as well as creation of monitoring tools and the FSGA self-evaluation tool for guardians.
